Spoon Twin-block Brake Caliper (45020-DCR-G00) on EG6: update on Slipstreams Fit

Update: I tested fit with a 7" width with +40 offset slipstreams.  As calculated, the clearance from the calipers is 3mm (2.5mm from the "Spoon" lettering).

  3. I have a 3mm spacer between the brake disc and the hub as required by the installation of the Spoon Caliper. (Not between the wheel and brake disc).

Yes, it is a 15inch. As long as the ROTA are 7inch width with 40 offset. It will have 3mm clearance. The diameter of the rims will not matter.

  4. Oh thank you!! I have Rota Slipstreams 15x7 Offset 40 and i'm going to put the spoon twin block calipers. But i have this problem, the spoon calipers are meant for 282x23mm discs as the ek9 has, my discs are 282x25 from a MG ZR 160 4x100. What mods i'll need to fit the spoon calipers??

  5. You will need the 3mm spacer to be placed between the hub and the disc to center the brake disc to the calipers.

Also watch where you place the washer for the bolt.

As the disc thickness, u might need to sand down the brake pads to have it fit.
